fixed factors in the past and present. Is this the case, however? For surely those factors depend on human responses for their outcome. The only exceptions would seem to be occurrences within a physical universe, which do not involve human wills and actions. And God’s actions, because they also involve humans and their actions and reactions, cannot be fully known because those human components cannot be predicted. In other words, even God does not really know what he will do—he only knows the possibilities.
